Sundie Garrison is being recognized as a Hemet Employee of Excellence for her outstanding leadership, collaboration, and dedication to the Acacia school community.
As the PE Department Team Lead, Sundie has helped her team begin the school year with strong systems and a shared commitment to student success. Under her leadership, the PE team has collaboratively developed clear procedures for the beginning and end of each class, including organizing students in designated lines by teacher outside the locker room. This structure allows staff to quickly identify students who are not where they belong while creating a safer and more orderly environment. Sundie has also fostered a sense of joint responsibility among the PE staff, with teachers working together to teach and reinforce appropriate locker room expectations and routines.
Beyond her leadership in PE, Sundie serves as Acacia’s Yearbook Advisor, dedicating her time and creativity to capturing the memories, accomplishments, and spirit of our school in a beautiful yearbook that students, families, and staff will cherish for years to come. Sundie’s leadership, teamwork, and commitment to our students truly exemplify what it means to be a Hemet Employee of Excellence. Congratulations Sundie!
