Hello Acacia Family!
My name is Mrs. Alvarado and I am honored to be one of the Middle School Counselors here at Acacia. My goal is to support our scholars academically, socio-emotionally, and with their college and career aspirations. I am dedicated to building authentic relationships, a sense of belonging, empowering students to be their best selves, and supporting every student to be successful.
As a first generation Latinx college graduate, I have made it my duty to empower our students; while also being your scholar's advocate through this important developmental period characterized by curiosity about their world and an emerging self-identity. I am committed to closing opportunity gaps and inspiring ALL students to achieve their educational dreams. I am so happy to be a part of this incredible school and I am grateful to work with amazing students, families, and staff each day.

Hello Students & Families,
I am very excited to be your school counselor! I am a first generation college graduate and have a passion for kids! I graduated with an Associate Degree in Social & Behavioral Science, a Bachelor Degree in Sociology, and a Master Degree in School Counseling in Education along with my PPS Credential.
I have two amazing kids! As a young mom, I surpassed many adversities and I am living proof anything is possible. I am dedicated to helping your students exceed their own expectations and assist them on an academic, social and emotional level.
