We are very excited to announce that the application for the Hemet Teacher Residency at Alder GSE is open! The priority application deadline is October 15th, 2021 for residents applying to be part of the 2022-2023 cohort, which will start courses in June of 2022. Hemet Unified is seeking qualified candidates who possess a Bachelor's degree and desire to teach in the following areas: Special Education - Mild/Moderate, Multiple Subject/Elementary, Single Subject English, Single Subject Mathematics, and Single Subject Science.

This is an innovative and affordable pathway to a full-time teaching career in our community. Alder GSE develops highly impactful educators through both theory and practice. You’ll earn a Master of Education and teaching credential in just 1 year while getting hands-on experience by collaborating with an experienced mentor teacher. Residents have access to a living stipend, financial aid, and numerous scholarships.
