Back to School Night

Come join us for back to school night on Thursday, August 24th from 5:30-7:30 PM. The evening is intended for parents so they may learn more about their student’s
instructional program. Parents will follow their student’s schedule. Topics covered will include curriculum, grading, materials used, and homework expectations.

Welcome Back!

The first day of school is Monday, August 7th at 8:45 A.M. If your child has been scheduled a zero period, it will begin on Tuesday at 7:47 A.M. The front gate will open at 7:15 A.M. every morning and the back gate by the gym (off of Sante Fe Avenue) will open at 7:30 A.M. every day.

Early Release will be every Wednesday and students will be dismissed at 2:11 P.M. We have an incredible staff ready to welcome your students to the 2017-18 school year on Monday. Have a wonderful weekend and we will see you on Monday:)

Acacia Middle School Named Exemplar Site by Project Read

Acacia Middle School was named an Exemplar Site by Project Read for the 2017-18 school year. Last year our school showed tremendous growth with our test scores in Language Arts. Our Winter Maps scores in Language Arts placed our school in the 97th percentile nationwide for growth. Our EL students showed tremendous progress by having 66.7% meet their Annual Measurable Achievement Objectives (AMAO) year 1. All three grade levels in SBAC testing for Language Arts had 35+ points in growth. Congratulations, Acacia! Keep showing that Cougar PRIDE!

Modified Wednesday Schedules
